Seth Freed Wessler

Seth Freed Wessler is a Puffin Fellow with The Investigative Fund and a journalist in New York focusing on punishment, inequality, and social services. He has produced stories for NBC News, ProPublica, The Nation, This American Life, Elle magazine, Colorlines, Radio Ambulante, and other outlets. Wessler was previously a staff reporter for NBCnews.com's In Plain Sight project and for Colorlines.com and was a 2014-2015 Soros Justice Media fellow. Wessler reports for The Investigative Fund and is a senior fellow at the Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism.
