Jarrett Murphy

Jarrett Murphy is the executive editor and publisher of City Limits, where he has worked since 2007. His prior posts include the Hartford Advocate, CBSNews,com and the Village Voice, and his work has appeared on WNYC and in The Nation, Columbia Journalism Review, Newsday, the Daily News and elsewhere. He has taught journalism at Fordham University, Hunter College and the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. A graduate of Fordham, he has a diploma in public financial policy from the London School of Economics and a masters in economics from the New School. A husband, father, youth baseball coach and rock bassist, Murphy lives in the Norwood section of the Bronx. Last updated July 2017
